![]() ![]() plus, it will help us monitor the updates and patches to the alpha. I do not have the time to login to your website and download and install updates from there. What would restore my hope in this game is allowing us to get updates by steam. which, makes me even more concerned for the state of the project. in fact a couple things were removed from the Alpha. and, I guess it does not get updated? as, it had little to nothing what is discussed in the patch notes or, shown in the trailer. I downloaded and tried the Alpha version on the website. Came back to find it has missed it's deadline for release and, also come to find out my key "steam" key only gave me access to the forums and, the "final" release (whenever, that day may come.or, never) to download the game. ![]() and, then completely forgot about the game for 2 years. I pre-ordered this game the second the kickstarter went up. I would like to play a game that is easy and not hard to play like star command galaxies Originally posted by Crytivo Games Inc.:Hello, ladies and gentlemen! Add to that the fact that Valve takes a third of every sale right off the top. $20 is cheating themselves and their existing backers, not to mention letting the door swing wide to loads of irrational criticism. If they start selling more game for half what their original backers had to pay for a buggy, near nonexistent mess or allow alpha access for the same $20 that others already pre-paid for beta and still can't use they're going to be livid, and rightly so. Still more have already pre-purchased beta access for $20. In any case, they're already selling it on the website for $40 and a hell of a lot of people got on board with that a long time ago. Then it won't matter what it costs because nobody will touch it with a 10 foot pole. If they release it on Steam in alpha and the existing content and development pace doesn't match people's expectations the rating is going to get hammered. In my opinion, bringing the game to Steam before it gets to beta is a bad idea anyway. Or worse, play it so long they can't get a refund and then trash it just because they're mad. ![]() That way not every clown with a spare few dollars will buy the game on impulse, review trash it because an EA game has bugs, and then get their money back. They go that high no one will buy this game on steam sorry but 30 or 40 way to high the most i can see this game is worth is like 20$ at most Prohibitively expensive is the whole idea. I think $30 is a much more reasonable figure, even the current $40 makes more sense than cutting it to significantly less than half what they've already been charging people, many of whom will be understandably furious. To put it on the Steam store for $12.99, a price that any underdeveloped 13 year old brain can afford, the devs would have to be utter fools.
